I Think It's Raining?

Tonight's run was a somewhat relaxed 8 miles on the Raleigh Greenway trails. That tropical depression or what ever it is by now is moving through dropping some much needed rain. Rain always seems to make for interesting, but still fun, runs for our group. Jim and Sam were up to their usual antics of splashing everyone by way of the puddles. It only took one leap into the soggy ammo to draw the entire group in. Before we new it, war had been declared. With the lack of rain these past few months and our obvious immaturity, it only took but one puddle to pull everyone of us back to our lost adolescence. I have come to appreciate runs like these. When your in the middle of a really crappy day and it seems like nothing else could go wrong, you remember runs like these and it reminds you not to take things too serious and that serenity is only one run away.
