Mufumbwe Times

Just back from spending a full month out at site, I am in Solwezi to take care of some business and to have a little R&R. Things are going great out at site. I am getting to know a good bit of the people in the village and work is starting to pick up a little. The rainy season is starting up and all the people are busy preparing their fields for the growing season. I have not determined yet if or what I am going to grow this season, but I do hope to grow something. The villagers are very excited to teach me about farming in the bush of Zambia. When I return to site I hope to spend another month long stretch out. From what I have been told, the farther you are into your service, the less chance you have to spend large chunks of time out at site. So I want to take advantage of these first few months as much as I can.
